Initially Dr. Egan recommends a follow up appointment every 8 to 10 weeks depending on your initial concerns and treatment plan. This time frame generally allows enough time to assess how well your treatment plan is working for you. As you recover your health we can check in annually.
At the conclusion of each appointment Dr. Egan will provide a recommendation for your next follow up, and you can always follow up sooner as preferred.

At this time, insurance companies do not typically cover the level of individualized, in-depth care that I provide—especially when it comes to comprehensive lab review, root-cause exploration, and personalized preventive care. Because of this, I do not contract directly with insurance providers, and payment is due at the time of service.
If you have a PPO plan, you may be able to submit your receipt for partial reimbursement or apply it toward your deductible. Many patients with PPO insurance find they can get some coverage for lab testing and appointment fees once their deductible is met.
We’re happy to provide you with an itemized superbill after your visit, which you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

At this time, our medical visits are 100% virtual, allowing our clients to receive high-quality medical care from the comfort of their own home. This also allows us to serve more clients and see those who may have limited care options due to geographic location.

Depending on your initial complaints, lab testing is an essential component of our approach to patient care. A GI-MAP stool analysis and organic acids test (OAT) are recommended for all clients to complete. Additional testing may be ordered on a case-by-case basis, include DUTCH hormone testing, mycotoxin testing, and bloodwork.
